This course investigates the skills managers need to have to ensure they fulfill their responsibilities around managing finances, human resources, and technology within the federal workplace. A combination of an overview of federal guidelines and real expectations for managers at specific levels of the organization are discussed. A broad understanding of each of these critical topics and how to strengthen knowledge and apply it within current positions will be covered.

Who Should Attend?
This course is appropriate for employees who are new or recently promoted into a position of leadership. This includes people who are in the process of taking on a new role or have been in a position of leadership for three years or less. These positions of leadership can be formal or informal, but they involve leading others whether as a supervisor, manager, project manager, or team lead.
